Patricia Dunne, LMSW, is a 2008 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Social Work. She has been employed by Erie County for the last 10 years as a Probation Officer. During her tenure, she has supervised adult offenders in general caseloads, DWI and is currently working with offenders classified as “Greatest Risk”. In addition, she has supervised Family Court adjudicated “Juvenile Delinquents” and “Persons in Need of Supervision” (PINS) cases for two years.
Patricia is a Certified General Topics Instructor and a trainer for Fundamentals of Probation Practice. Other experiences include being a member of the department’s Crisis Intervention Team and she is a Certified Facilitator of Thinking for a Change, a cognitive behavior change program. She has completed and demonstrated competency in both Basic and Advanced Motivational Interviewing through New York State DCJS. She brings on the job experience, tremendous knowledge and a passion for Motivational Interviewing to TVG.
