Todd Roberts, M.A.

Todd A. Roberts, M.A., is an Executive Officer for the Sixth District Iowa Department of Corrections. Mr. Roberts has over 30 years of experience with adults and juveniles involved in the justice system. Mr. Roberts is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). He earned the MINT Certified Motivational Interviewing Trainer in 2024. He has trained Motivational Interviewing for national audiences in health care, mental health, substance misuse, criminal justice/corrections, and specialty courts across the United States.

Todd has trained Motivational Interviewing to many agencies, including: The American Probation & Parole Association (APPA), National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP), American Correctional Association (ACA), Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, Idaho Department of Corrections, Benchmarks Mental Health Services, North Carolina, and ASO Health Care Professionals. Mr. Roberts presented at the 2018 Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) International Conference in New Orleans. He presented at the January 2021 and December 2021 Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) International Virtual Conferences. Todd had the opportunity to present at the Polish-American Development Council 2022 Corrections Conference in Torun, Poland.
